Photographs of a Scene (optional) Scenes add substantial depth and insight to the story you are sharing on memorial plaques, especially when they show a person’s interests or accomplishments in life. They are not absolutely necessary, however. The Pamela J. Smoak plaque, for example, works extremely well without a scene at all. Unless you already have a photo of your person in a great scene, one will need to be created by carefully combining separate photographs. This opens up all kinds of possibilities with the scene photograph, including taking your own, having one taken, finding it in someone’s collection, or using a stock image. Why This is Essential – While photographs are not required on plaques, they do offer viewers a strong visual connection with the subject and his or her interests or accomplishments in life. They add tremendous depth to the story you are sharing. Click here to see examples of plaques with scenes.
